VOTER POLLS PROVIDE VALUABLE GUIDANCE TO 2020 PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES

AND FH THROWS IN ITS OWN CAMPAIGN ADVICE FOR FREE …

The 2020 election is still 18-months away, but we find the Democrat’s platform issues, focus on investigation rather than legislation, and resistance to popular Trump policies to be perplexing. Likewise, we find the President’s gamble on implementing his health care solution after the election to be equally vexing.

Let’s take a look at the recent polls to see how voters feel about these issues.

All of the Democrat’s top platform issues are unpopular …

According to a January 2019 Pew Research Center Poll, American voters say the top priorities of the President and Congress should be the economy, health care and terrorism.

So, after considering these polls, and based on the crazy theory that the best way to win a presidential election is to listen to what the voters want, here is our 2020 campaign advice to all Democrat candidates and President Trump:

FH 2020 CAMPAIGN ADVICE TO DEMOCRATS:

Rejoice in the improving Economy, don’t deny it or try to give Obama credit when GDP growth has doubled, minority unemployment rates have hit all-time lows, and blue collar wages have risen more than any other income group since Trump took office. Focus instead on increasing jobs via infrastructure spending, consider bucking tradition by supporting additional middle class tax cuts, and cease promoting the false promises of socialism.

Health Care was your ticket to regaining the House of Representatives, and it could also propel one of your candidates to the White House, but not if you take away private health insurance from 160 million Americans (including many union workers) and support infanticide.

STOP pushing unpopular investigations, impeachment proceedings, and felonious prisoner voting rights. STOP resisting popular immigration control policies and funding requests. STOP proposing unaffordable new policies, like Medicare For All, the Green New Deal, free college, etc.

FH 2020 CAMPAIGN ADVICE TO PRESIDENT TRUMP:

You’ve done well on voters’ #1 priority — the Economy. The majority of voters give you credit, so continue what you’re already doing to spur growth, reduce regulations, renegotiate trade deals, reduce taxes, attract investment, create jobs and raise wages.

You’ve got a lot of work to do on voters’ # 2 priority — Health Care. Most experts believe the Democrats retook the House because Republicans did not repeal and replace Obamacare, so it is very risky to wait until after the election before proposing your solutions. You must clearly outline the details, benefits and costs of your plan (that must include coverage for people with pre-existing conditions) before the election and then let the vote be your referendum.

You’ve also done well on voters’ #3 priority — Terrorism. You have defeated the ISIS caliphate overseas and have prevented terrorist attacks in the homeland. Don’t worry about the upside down numbers on your Foreign Affairs job approval, as those polls are conducted by mostly left-leaning organizations and reflect voter’s opinions on the state of relations with our European allies, which are of course strained in some cases due to your demands to treat us more fairly when it comes to defense expenditures, trade, etc.

GOOD LUCK CANDIDATES !
